Description
This VWR Unstirred Water Bath is used but complete and ready to use in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition. When water was added all the knobs and indicator lights performed as they should. Temperature was consistant with knob settings, and you can set and maintain temperatures ranging from Ambient to 93C. The plastic gabled lid fits as it should and is recommended for most efficient operation over 60C.
Tank is made from Type 304 stainless steel to resist chemicals and simplify cleaning. Non skid rubber feet, 6' power cord.

Unstirred water baths provide the standard convection current heating for samples that require an increased temperature environment. Preferred heat sources when working with hazardous material that cannot be exposed to a direct flame, the containers incorporate lids to trap heat within. With a stainless steel construction, the laboratory instruments prevent corrosion and are easy to clean in between uses. The unstirred water baths have analog or digital controls to reach the temperature stability required.
Condition & Testing
When filled with water, and tested with an external thermometer for temperature accuracy this machine did exactly what it was designed for, reached temps as needed. According to my thermometer this unit will heat up to 93C when set on high. All lights and analog dials work as they should. The gabled lid is original and fits well. Hospital grade cord is good without cracks or breaks. Operators manual is a photocopy. Very nice countertop unit.
