Vintage Upright Piano Hammer Back Head and Butt Extractor - Piano Repair Tool

Description

A tool found in a machinist tool box owned by a musical instruments repairman. Took me long time to figure out what it was. And they don't make them like this anymore. Solid steel construction. Sliding jaw is driven by the "T" handle screw at the end. Has a spring loaded ball to keep it from sliding out.
Threads look good and it has about an inch of stroke.
