VINTAGE ORIGINAL 1960s 70s TAXI CAB LIGHTED ROOF TOPPER SIGN MAN CAVE LIGHT

Description

So… What is my opinion about this interesting awesome taxi cab plastic sign that has original lighting in it and some kid put an LED multicolored strip inside?
I sure would like to see it lit up but I don’t have the remote or the power Doohickey to hook up the LED strip. I don’t know if the LED strip will even work but it’s a very interesting idea for this light.
It also has the original lights… Three light bulbs sockets… The wiring is sticking out untested and as is…
The bottom of the light has a slight arc as if it was going on a roof… It has some sealant on it inside… It probably could be cleaned up a little bit… I didn’t clean it or do anything with it at all to enhance it so it should clean up a little bit.
My opinion is I thought it was totally cool. Kind of funny… It would be an interesting converted light.
I didn’t see any cracks or anything like that… They made these things tough… For New York City cabs but I don’t know where it came from other than Illinois… The Chicago area…
