Vintage Miniature Dollhouse Doll Artisan Sherri Colvin UK Anne Boleyn OOAK
This is an incredible, vintage artisan-crafted sculpted dollhouse doll, Anne Boleyn,
she was the second wife of King Henry VIII — a scandalous marriage, given that he had been denied an annulment from his first wife by the Roman Church, and that his mistress was Anne's sister, Mary. Thusly, King Henry VIII broke from the Church to marry Anne. She gave birth to a daughter, but could not conceive a son. On May 19, 1536, Boleyn was executed on false charges of incest, witchcraft, adultery and conspiracy against the king. Her daughter, Elizabeth, emerged as one of England's greatest queens. Boleyn died on May 19, 1536, in London, England.
She was made with love by the miniature artisan Sherri Colvin. This is a OOAK piece and she is amazing.  I have included a painting of the real Anne Boleyn wearing jewelry very similar to this doll.
This wonderful little miniature was from a collection, 40 years in the making.  Every collection has a story and this one is well, just wonderfully special. I was surprised to see such a tiny home with so many minis, the story behind the person, is that she lived a grand life in a large home, she traveled the world in search for artisan miniatures and boy did she find them.  This collection is so vast, it features miniatures from artisans
