Vintage 1930s-40s OIL BOTTLE Carrier EARLY Heavy METAL Straps HOLDS 6 - Rough !!
I'd say 1930s or 40s for sure, early type with coiled wire handle.
Also, not the usual all round wire construction, this one is made of 3 flat metal straps running in one direction, and the rest of the carrier is the usual round metal wire stock.
Handle is in a fixed position, non-movable construction.
This carrier measures about 13-1/2 inches long, 9 inches wide, and about 5 inches tall not counting the handle, 12-1/2 inches including handle.
Each of the 6 bottle pockets are about 4 inches square.
Still, its very sturdy despite the overall rusting, some would call it patina !!!
That being said, this bottle carrier is being sold AS-IS as pictured - what you see is what you get so view all photos and ask questions please.
Would make a great yard art piece or a fine accent to that early gas station garage look.
