    Nice big chunk of fossil solenopora sponge from Kentucky. This specimen exhibits the "brain" patterning and pink coloration from minerals absorbed by the sponge
    . The "flat" side gives you a good look at the interior of this creature.

    measurements are 6.5" x 4" x 2.5" and weight is 2 lb 13 oz
