The RUTGERSON batten adjuster “BANTAM” and “LIMOUSINE” are made of black anodized Aluminium. The unique snap system allows to remove the cover without tools. The innovative snap-function of this batten tensioner is very user-friendly for the sailors additional offers this system an elegant design with no sharp edges and screws. Furthermore, these tensioners offers several advantages for the sailmaker, such as the quick and easy installation. Especially with large and heavy sails the installation is faster and easier. An other profit is the combined batten receptacle for classic and round sail battens. BANTAM is the smaller version of the 1600 series and designed for monohull yachts with total length of 55ft and 44ft maximum at multihull yachts.
