    Description

    Key Bushing Tip Burning Blade
    Removing the old key bushings when rebushing keys can be a difficult and time consuming task.  This tool helps make the process quicker and easier.  This tool is to be used with a soldering iron which will accommodate a 1/4" shaft.  It is recommended that you use a temperature regulator to avoid burning the felt.  We sell both the soldering iron and the soldering iron station to regulate the temperature in our eBay store.  The videos below shows the procedure for removing the key bushings from the key and installing the new felt.  This tool can be used on both the front rail and balance rail mortises.
