PAIR Acee Blue Eagle Teacup Saucers 'Ruling His Sun' and 'Hunting Horse' VGC

This listing is for a pair of saucers by Acee Blue Eagle for Knox Oil Company in Enid, Oklahoma, as a premium giveaway. The designs for the two saucers are “Ruling His Sun” and “Hunting Horse.” Acee Blue Eagle was a Native American artist, educator, dancer, and Native American flute player, who established and directed the art program at Bacone College in Oklahoma. He attended the University of Oklahoma. He was an enrolled member of the Muscogee Nation. The colors on each saucer are strong and the gold trim on each is good. There is some wear. See photo. Each saucer measures 5 7/8” in diameter. They are marked, “Knox, Fine China, (respective name of item, i.e. ‘Ruling His Sun’, By Acee Blue Eagle, Japan” on the underside. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to either item. There is a small mark on the back of ‘Hunting Horse’ and some dimples that are glazed over. Want to make sure and mention them.
