    Description

    Here is a Neslab model RTE-111 recirculating heater / chiller. Tag on back has the following info. BOM # 134106200702, serial # 197059063, R-134A, 5.5 ounces Press: Discharge 120-140 PSI, suction 51-52 PSI. This is rated at 220 volts AC in + / - 10 percent and 50 HZ. So to use on a continuous basis, should probably be hooked up to a frequency converter, since the US is 60 HZ. Cooling capacity is rated at 500 watts and 1705 btu/h. Heating capacity is rated at 800 watts at 60 HZ and 1000 watts at 50 HZ. To set temp, you press in the display button and then adjust the fine and course knobs to desired temp. I hooked up to 208 volts AC, 60 HZ and used distilled water. Set temp to 55 C and when it reached temp, set to 15 C and flipped on the refrigeration toggle switches to on and max and temp went down. I used a piece of tubing about 5 feet long between inlet and outlet ports. There is a power cord included with a Hubbell 250 volt 15 amp plug on the end. There is a 15 pin connector on side of unit for remote programming along with a knob for setting the high temp set point. This is used. No vendor packaging, cables, software.
