Vintage Handmade Curly Black Lamb
Here is a teeny tiny black lamb made from what appears to be clay and covered with a curly type thread I have been told is called "bunka".  This thread really gives the lamb a pretty wooly look.  The bunka has been meticulously glued on very evenly. The facial features are also very detailed and painted neatly.  A pretty beige ribbon with a bow adorns the neck. This little lamb came from my late mother's collection, so I do not have any additional detailed info.  My mother had her display under glass and items were barely touched, so this little lamb is in excellent condition.  I think she bought it in the 1980's.  This little guy is about 1 inch tall and 1 inch long. The artist is unknown.
This would be a great addition to any sheep collection or a tiny toy displayed in a dollhouse nursery or child's room.  What a great gift for someone or just a treat for yourself.  This item is not for small children due to it's tiny size.
This item comes carefully wrapped and shipped in a sturdy box.
