    This is a handcrafted dollhouse (miniature) item.
    Here's a really cute metal telescope on tripod, manufactured in dollhouse (1:24 scale) by "Town Square Miniatures".  The telescope is approx
    . 2 5/8" tall, and is disassembled for shipping (see picture #2).  The legs fit easily and loosely into the base of the telescope.  A dot of glue may be necessary to hold them into place.  Picture #3 shows the telescope beside a 1:12 scale doll that's 4 3/4" tall.  Clearly the telescope is more appropriate for a 1:24 (half scale) setting.
