    This is a dollhouse (miniature) item.
    Here is something you don't see in miniature every day...a judge's gavel cast in metal and hand-painted in dollhouse (1:12) scale.  The gavel measures 1" (2.5 cm) in length, and the head measures 7/16" (11 mm) wide.  It is painted dark brown, and is really adorable!  I want one...I'm not sure where I would display it.  Probably the "Having a Garage Sale" room box, my dumping ground for all otherwise homeless miniatures.  Thanks for looking!
