    Description

Most of my miniature auctions start with LOW opening bids and NO reserve.  Please see my other items as I am happy to combine shipping (pay highest shipping for one auction and any other wins ship for NO additional charge  ~  please wait for a combined invoice if you win more than one auction ~ it is the ONLY way I can combine shipping to save you money (if paid separately I cannot combine).
    Estate piece from my inventory.
GORGEOUS and UNIQUE hinged box (faux hinge ~ not made to open) made of hand blown blue glass in an ovate shape.  Metal that goes around has a rope design and there is a glass tubular bead as the "latch".  Also sits on a round metal base.  Hand painted after Mary Gregory.  This was made by an unknown artist here in the U.S. in the 1980's.  Truly a SPECIAL piece and you will be hard pressed to find another.
    Measures 5/8" long x 3/8" high.
The U.S. Postal Service is experiencing MAJOR PROBLEMS with delivery due to Covid and other issues that set them behind last year.  Though they are improving,  SOME packages are still taking up to four WEEKS to be delivered.   If you can't commit to possibly having to wait up to FOUR WEEKS for delivery, please don't bid.  If item is not delivered in that time period you will be refunded.  I am offering UPS as an alternative but please be advised that UPS rates are sometimes more than double those of USPS.and even they are experiencing some delivery problems :o(
