    This Fantastic Work of Art is Hand Carved from a solid piece of Hard Wood, "Box Wood". Extreme
    Detail and Exceptional Craftsmanship has gone into this older carving. The eyes and teeth are inlaid.

    carving that is 11" tall. We were very lucky to find a small stash of these older
    VERY WELL CARVE

    works of art many years ago. The Wood Carvings that we are offering are crafted by the old Chinese Masters who took great pride in their work as can be evidenced from the detail in this carving. These Master Craftsmen are long gone and the apprentices producing newer carvings do not demonstrate the care and workmanship of the old time artisans.
    This late 1800's Wood Carving has NO
    age cracks at all, it's very nice. Age cracks are expected and are generally normal in the older hardwood Works of Art.
    This Elegant Standing Wise Man Buddha Figure has been safely sitting on a shelf for a few decades and could benefit from a good cleaning and oiling. We left him in his original condition (dirt and dust) so his age could be easily evidenced.
    SIZE
    This Carving stands approx. 11" at its tallest by about 4 3/4" at its widest and approx. 4" deep. We have images of this wood statue next to a cola can as well as in an adult males hand to help give you a better idea of the actual size.
