Upon inspection of the device,
I noticed the type of scuffs and scratches that happen with normal use.
There are noticeable scuffs and scratches inside of the water reservoir.
All ports and connectors are in good cosmetic condition.
The original lid is missing.
I also noticed that t
he plastic chamber holding the water reservoir is not attached to the base. The water reservoir is connected to the base only via wires (see picture #10).
I was able to power on the device.
I noticed that the display has dead pixels (see picture #1). The second and fourth slots do not display any numbers. It is hard to tell what temperature is being set.
I was able to pour water into the reservoir.
I was able to use the front buttons to set the temperature.
I was able to set the temperature to the max of 100° C and I was able to heat the water to 90° C after about 30 minutes. I confirmed this using an in-house thermometer and a temporary lid.
No further testing could be completed due to lack of knowledge and/or resources.
The device is sold as is for parts, repair or as a partially working item.
No lid is included.
