Eco air meter Model 97 Salesman Sample RARE

For auction is an extremely rare Eco Air Meter Model 97 salesman sample. In the late Jack Sim’s book he states that these came with a handle and special base as shown in the last picture. He also states that one was FOUND in 2007 so I am sure there are only a handful of these still in existence. Someone told me they had one that was missing the base and this one came mounted on a wall mount… I was extremely lucky to find what I believe is the original base used on these. My theory is( and is purely speculation on my part) is that when newer models came out or the salesman sample became scratched or bent that they were sold and put in service thus the unit with the carrying handle showing up without the base. This unit was stripped, cleaned, and repainted. There was rot in the bottom of the front and rear covers which is typical. It was repaired. All of the chrome was replaced with the exception of the top handle which could never be found.The light works. Handle and numbers turn freely. Unit is being sold as a NONFUNCTIONAL UNIT.
