Doreen Sinnett Artisan Made Dollhouse Doll ‘Harriet’ Lovely Mature Lady To Dress

Here is the final doll of three Doreen Sinnett dollhouse dolls that I am currently offering. Dolls by this artist are very collectible, and it’s easy to see why—they are just so realistically modeled and beautifully made! This particular example is a vintage offering. The doll is not signed but extremely well rendered, with exemplary facial painting. Standing 5 1/2” tall, she has a bisque head/torso combo, with bisque lower limbs. Her shapely calves end in molded and painted black heeled pumps. The rest of the doll is constructed with a cotton padded wire armature, making the doll flexible for posing. This doll has been identified as ‘Harriet’ from Doreen’s website. Harriet has a slight double chin, giving her a more mature look. She’s what some would call a ‘handsome, older’ woman. She really is quite lovely, and wears her dark brunette hair in an old fashioned look, with tiny ribbon rosettes accentuating each braid. Aside from her shoes, she isn’t wearing a stitch, and will therefore be needing a proper outfit. Wouldn’t she be fun to dress? Doreen Sinnett pattern’s can be found online to help with the task!
