Doreen Sinnett Artisan Made Dollhouse Doll Glamorous Lady ‘Lisette’ Gloves Boots

For the connoisseur of fine artisan made dollhouse dolls, here we have a Doreen Sinnett lady to add to your miniature abode! Dolls by this artist are very collectible, and it’s easy to see why—they are just so lovely! This particular example is a vintage offering. The doll is not signed but extremely well made, with exemplary facial painting. Standing 5 1/2” tall, she is all bisque save for her upper legs which have a wire armature under padding, making her pose-able. I have included a photo from a Sinnett catalog which shows how the body would look without the glued on pantaloons. The page explains how one could choose the head mold of their preference to add to the body. I believe this is the lovely ‘Lisette.’ The rest of her garments were apparently never made for her, but she would be a fun project to dress as you choose.
This particular body is distinguished by the long molded and painted evening gloves, a very faintly molded corset, and tall, side buttoning boots. She’s a beauty in her wig of long blonde curls, adorned with a charming silk ribbon rosette coyly placed on one side of her head. The head is elastic string jointed at the neck, and she has peg and elastic string jointing at the shoulders.
