RARE Vintage Dolls and Toys
for your Miniature Dollhouse in 1:12 scale. This group of 24 toys once adorned a glassed in, toy store room box and is now ready for your own dollhouse or room box. It includes all the two dozen toys seen in the first photo. They are shown with pennies so you have a strong sense of scale. Many of them were made in the 1960's and 1970's over a half century ago. These items have been in safe dark storage for decades and there is no fading or wear at all, they are as if new.
The dozen human baby dolls were all made by the highly collected
Lynda Bauer
and her signature is still prominently on their tags. If one is even able to find her work today, the price tag will be substantial. These include a male and female pair of
Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls, a pair of clown dolls, a pair of male and female African American dolls, a male pirate doll and five charming female dolls dressed up in their Sunday finery.
Four teddy bears are also ready to amuse and entertain, and a blond clown on the top shelf can coax a smile from anyone. On the bottom shelf is a squadron of wooden handmade helicopters, and a hammer and peg toy - all classic old fashioned favorites. What a magnificent collection, and miraculously they have been in safe dark storage for decades, and are as fresh and bright as the day they were made.
The wooden shelves are not included nor is the toy store room box itself. But if you are feeling creative how about decorating the dollhouse nursery or kids room with a parade of toys their grand daddy or great grand mommy might have played with decades ago? All other prop items in the photos are there for display purposes only and are not included in this auction, but some of them may be available in future auctions.  I have tried to include a few lot auctions where numerous similar items may offer some amazing bargains.
