    Description

    For your consideration is a pair of antique/vintage Foo Dogs. These are solid and heavy. I am not an expert on these, but similar ones listed are described as Cinnabar or mahogany wood. These Foo dog staues are considered a protection symbol in Chinese history or Imperial guardian lions. They guarded tombs, palaces, homes of powerful wealthy people. These are in overall great shape except for one small chip noted to one finger. Noted in picture #8. Please see pictures as part of the description. Sorry about the glare! Thank you for looking.
