These items are inappropriate for children under age twelve, as most are very delicate and intended for display only. They are in gently used condition. I am downsizing my extensive personal collection of exquisite dollhouse miniatures handmade in the US or UK, not a professional dealer but an avid retired collector. This unusual 1:12 scale vintage pierced metal colander with built in handles is the work of long retired IGMA artisan Mary Carson, "Hammer 'n Smith."  She is best known for her grungy burned retro pots and pans, although she also produced many items in black metal such as this unique piece.  Purchased new directly close to two decades ago, this piece is purposefully darkened, a little aged, with sharp (be careful please!) piercings surrounding the body and bottom of the piece. Ideal piece for a kitchen pantry or counter, restaurant back room setting, or any vintage setting. Price reduced. Happy shopping!
