Spa in the day and in the night: Nikola Tsolov’s Dream Race Weekend

Nikola Tsolov’s return for another a campaign in Formula 3 has been confirmed with the Bulgarian set to drive for Campos Racing in 2025.
So, while he waits for the first race weekend of the season to get going, he was given the task of designing his own and in doing so he took us to a familiar venue but with a few alterations.
WHERE WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?
“I guess I’d have it at Spa.”

WHEN WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?
“I would have it in August, because it’s Spa.”
DAY OR NIGHT RACE?
“That’s a good one. One race in the day and one race at night. We maybe have to put up some lights, but it’s the perfect weekend, right? So, it’s going to have lights.”
WET OR DRY RACE?
“Both, one each. I guess wet during the day and dry during the night race.”
WHAT WOULD THE TRACK LOOK LIKE?
“I don’t think I would change it, but if anything, I would make the straight a tiny bit shorter. But considering the F3 car is pretty quick I would keep it the same.”

WHAT TYRES WOULD YOU BRING?
“I’d probably go with the Hards, so we don’t have a lot of degradation. If we can have pit stop strategies then going for the Softs would be quite fun.”
WHICH CELEBRITIES WOULD YOU INVITE AS GUESTS?
“That’s a good one. Travis Scott, Drake, I like them and their music. Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Dua Lipa, Michael Jordan, Cristiano Ronaldo. We don’t need to count the F1 drivers as they will already be there.”
WHICH ARTISTS WOULD PLAY ACROSS THE WEEKEND?
“I’d have Travis Scott, Drake and Chris Lake BSB Fisher.”
WHAT WOULD THE TROPHIES BE LIKE?
“Oh, it would be gold. There would be some fancy thing, something quite different to normal trophies, something different that no one has seen. I can’t think of a design right now but something like that.”

WHAT WOULD THE PODIUM BE LIKE?
“I actually quite like the Barcelona podium because the floor is like the track map, the main straight and everything, I think that’s a good one, also the Monaco one is quite good.”
WOULD YOU INCLUDE ANYTHING ELSE?
“That I will win every race.”
